7. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, to provide our services, or as required by applicable law. WhatsApp message data processed via Impact Chat is retained within our CRM for as long as the customer relationship is active, or until you request deletion. ERP data is retained for the duration of the subscription and for a reasonable period thereafter for accounting and legal compliance purposes.

8. WhatsApp messaging data (Impact Chat)

When you or your customers interact via WhatsApp through Impact Chat, we may collect and process the following:

  • WhatsApp phone number and profile name of the contact.
  • Content of messages exchanged (inbound and outbound) between your team and customers.
  • Message timestamps and delivery status.
  • Message template usage and approval status.

This data is used solely to enable CRM functionality — allowing your team to reply to inbound inquiries, send approved follow-up message templates, and log conversations against customer records. WhatsApp message data is processed via the WhatsApp Business API (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) and stored securely within our CRM system. We do not use WhatsApp message content for advertising purposes.

9. Your rights

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes.
